...the weather looked dire across Scotland according to the weatherman but maybe some sunshine across Northern Argyll.
It was foggy along Loch Lomond and dreich up through Crianlarrich, but on Rannoch Moor, it got brighter.
This is the mountain that overlooks Loch Leven and the start of the Pass of Glencoe just south of here.

At its best with just a skiffing of snow on the top. Barely saw it when we there there the week before last!

Stunner, Dougie. Awesome scale given by the shoreline detail.

I always feel it stands as a sentinel to the western entrance to the Glen, Dougie, just as the Great Shepherd does at the eastern.
The weather had cleared up quite nicely for you by the time you got there.

Lovely to see a touch of blue sky....but one has to be quick to capture it before the next shower of rain! This is lovely. Ann.

The snow adds a lot of definition to the highground and makes the ridge terribly attractive here!

Beautiful light Dougie. Nothing fancy or false like so many shots of Loch Leven and Glencoe, just straightforward and beautiful. I like the way the clouds obscure the tops of the Mamores to the left and the Aonach Eagach to the right adding to the magic of the image.

The beauty of nature captured naturally and beautifully. The image deserves to be scrolled so that you can see the row of houses looking rather diminutive and intimidated beneath the massive grandeur.
