By Scottishlandscapes
This is a repost for quality sake. Across Stafin Bay in Skye, shows the wee houses dwarfed by The Quiraing crag.

I hope you find this version more accurate Kinfatric, this is the one frame no stitch and looks much sharper, only lost one house on right so no great loss. I also compressed this by stages because it started as 40 meg file and lost a lot in compression.

Hi Doug. This looks great. I love the "blanket" of colourful fields amongst the crofts. I have always adored the whitewashed crofts up there. The Quirang in the background stands out proud here. The detail is so good that you can just see The Table peeping through too. (right in the centre of the shot just below the cliff top).
Thank you for uploading it.

Nice one Dougie.. Dramatic sense of scale with the houses dwarfed in the foreground. Must try this shot when I get there Smile Well done..

Thanks to all for the comments, and especially to Jeanie my new EPZ pal a very accomplished photographer from the Isle of Skye. And a mention for Kinfantic who started the ball rolling on this shot Cheers my friend you were absolutely right.

This is a cracker - fabulous colour - I also wonder if cropping the image to lose the sky also makes for a very arresting image, Click, Martin

..(blush) wish I did live there Dougie. I spend nearly every holiday up on the Misty Isle but I live in Blackpool with its rock and tower and tacky stuff Sad
BUT.....One this space.

get out of my space woman I am cut to the bone...never darken my portal, whatever that is.
Youre still a very good photographer and don't start sending pix of the tower, whatever that is
All the best Jeanie

Hi, just had a look this moment, well I think its fine and if its made you have a rethink and your happy with the end result then its perhaps something you may adopt now and apply in the future.

Hello Dougie, I find it all hard to keep pace with being a Quantity surveyor during the day time and a photographer in the few hours that remain...I can see you have had a good break in the Utter Hebrides among my fellow Teuchters, but years of experience have taught them to watch the Keelies when they come up from the smoke, lol...nice colourful work in a beautiful setting. See you later friend.
