Well done, beautiful landscape, love the blue skies reflecting off the water, and the mountains look so majestic in the background! Spot On! Click!!!

Beautiful picture. Might have looked even better with a little bit more of the foreground. Well done,

I like the idea of the tree framing, Dougie, but I think it overwhelms the overall image a bit. Either moving in closer (too show less of the tree but achieving the same framing effect) or moving back to show the tree in context would strengthen the composition. I love the scene, and you've caught it in beautiful light as always.

This is rather lovely me thinks. Love the composition with the tree framing the image and the mountains in the background. I took a similar photo on Saturday - Talybont Reservoir.
Excellent.

Don't know how I missed this one yesterday Dougie. It's a super shot, particularly the large version...everything is so clear.

I love this road - did you stop at the Applecross Inn at the end, or do the Pass of the Cattle?
(got my teatowel of Sheildaig). We had a cottage across Lower Loch Torridon on the estate there. Beautiful location apart from the raincloud that accompanied us for the week : (

Not this time Jeanie I am saving it for later in the year, I was trying to get to Torridon but was delayed at Shieldaig, by the fabulous scenery.
