By Scottishlandscapes from over the shoulder, I keep mentioning how important it is to watch what's happening behind when set up on a tripod. The camera that is not the photographer.Tongue

You could coin a phrase from panto here, Dougie......."it's behind you!". It's almost as if a giant hair blower is lying beyond the far shore blowing a stream up through the sky.
What a good job you turned round to capture this extraordinary sky event.
It's all about light and shade as this fine shot exemplifies.

The sky is on the attack. A still landscape with an incredibly active, dynamic sky.

I must confess here I am something of a cloud/sky afficianado and this is an A+ example. Well done for seeing the images potential and for preserving its beauty at the post production stage. Wonderful Dougie.

Oh Dougie I would love to see you on top of the tripod but you know what you would still produce images as good as this.

Phenomenal cloud and lighting conditions in the sky and they rightly take the lion's share of the composition. The land is still an important component looking suitability dwarfed but with a good lead in off the road.
