The warm tones above the horizon along with the interesting cloud patterns above make for a sky to dream for: nice bit of detail in the land mass too and as you say the light and colour catching on that small area of shoreline is just the icing on the cake here. As ever, composition and exposure so professionally handled, Dougie.

You have captured a deliciously dreamy atmosphere, Dougie. I doubt Torridon is totally without cares and woes but it certainly looks it.

A beautifully fiery sky casting a nice wee bit of light on the water. Like those dark clouds at the top of the shot too. A sight to behold. Moira

Danny has described the sky as 'astonishing' and it is - I don't think I've consciously seen a sky like it, but how wonderful it is.

The warmth shines through here, Dougie, and that is emphasised by that sliver of molten colour at the water's edge.
Warmth and light overcome the darkness and the cold. Such ia Nature.

I love the contrast between the darkness of the sky and the colours of the new day emerging at the same time Dougie, this type of scene we take for granted, I am delighted you have managed to capture this special moment in time. The reflection on the shoreline just adds something special to this wonderful image, Very well done my friend, Bill.
