Nice composition, I love the bridge and your use of the pool to introduce light to the foreground. Well done.

Nice to see a different area of Skye, this has to be one of the most midgie infested camp sites on earth. But a stunning location and you have done well to capture it`s mood.

Thanks David
breakfast was hurried as I saw this begin to form outside the Hotel window.
Yes I was roughing it, it's difficult to find something new on Skye but such a wonderful Isle for the photography.
All the best

wow, what a shot.
You know, it amazes me the amny beautiful scenes that people are capturing and pasting here. This is another example of one of those breath taking scenes.
You captured this scene well!
Thanks for sharing,

Good shot Dougie.. Nice reflected pool, good clouds hugging the peaks..Im planning a trip to Skye over easter..Any tips or pointers would be appreciated. Thanks for the encouragement by the way..

Hi Craig, I found the west of the island was best but the road was closed over the top from the east so I was at the top right I never got all the way around. As you are fit enough do go up close to the man of Storr it's stunning. Elgol to the west is always worth the trip down single track road for 14 it!!!
All the best

A superb shot of Glamaig at sunrise. It is an unique composition. I like the angle you have used to take this shot.

(Re the Kilmuir road closure - the Florigarry is still open (great food) - worth a trip up that side of the peninsula and you get to see the Quirang too)
Thanks for that Jeanie I will be back to Skye I love the feel of the place no matter the weather.
All the best
