The Caledonian Canal...

By Scottishlandscapes
...I managed this time not to startle the ducks here, they scatter and spoil the mirror surface of the water, and then you wait and wait and hope that nobody walks along the path with their dog, and the whole process starts again.

Good morning, that was an instant surprise so early in the day.
Super capture, excellent mono shot. Out of interest, did you do the mono effect in camera or in PSP? Alex

wonderful Dougie the scene the tones everything. I know what you mean about the ducks, dogs too that happened to me but at Glen Feshie when the canine went for a swim...after its master threw a stick in for it of course Smile
I'm off to Ullapool today for a couple of days so lets hope the weather stays reasonable, low level stuff though as Caryl will be with me too, although I'm keen to get a lofty view point or two it just all depends on the timing.

N.B. your up early!

Superb reflections and light. Works well as a BW conversion. I have the same problem with seals as you have with ducks.
