The Sun Arrived...

...and lit up the white beard on Blackmount reflected in the Lochan here on Rannoch Moor.
Another day when you're glad to be alive & living in Scotland.

Lovely.
Again.
It's the various layers of grasses/water/reflections/shoreline/mountains/cloud/sky that give the interest, held together by that wonderful tree.

Bill

Perfectly composed, Dougie, to make the most of that beautiful contrast between cold, frosty foreground and the warmly lit scene beyond. Even those grasses appearing over the bottom edge of the frame serve a purpose in occupying what would otherwise be a dark space, while your positioning ensures that the peak and tree are reflected without interference from the grass. Sublime.

This is really stunning Dougie, the light and the reflections topped off by that fantastic sky.....we would have loved to be there yesturday but poor Dougie had such a long drive ahead that me and Jeanie coulden't justify it. Hope to get something like this next visit and hopfully bump into you properly too! Grin
