The lone Highlander walking along the verge makes such a natural and welcome bit of f/g interest to this shot from the misty isle, and true to form the low cloud banks swirl over the far hillside: but nice to see some breaks in the cloud permitting small parts to show up the winter colours.
When we were there in 2008 it drizzled for days on end and we never saw any sun breaks whatsoever.

When I see a Highland Coo Dougie,
it always reminds me of the bar of toffee you used to get.
(I do believe you can still get it !!)

An idyllic scene, Dougie, including so many iconic elements - the low cloud, the partially obscured distant peaks, the patches of light (one of the drawbacks of living in a relatively flat part of the country is that you don't get to see such a feature), the water and, of course, the curious cow.
