Saw it on your website yesterday, hoped you'd upload it here, looks good seeing it large, somehow has a sinister look about it which I like, one small personel niggle the buildings look to lean a little near to the right hand frame but only a niggle in otherwise a cracking urban image

Rather lovely. Was this long exposure or a touch of HDR? Not really bothered, its more amazement at the exposure and the colour balance you have managed to keep. Beautifully done!

Hi Johnny it was HDR, 3 shots processed in Photomatrix using the fusion option and then tweaked and sharpened in PS.

Then very, very subtle Richard and very expertly done to not make it look like that "classic" HDR look that just wouldn't work with this. Beautifully done and I doff my cap.....this is how HDR SHOULD be done.
Wonderful low light shot Richard - well captured

This is a stunning shot. The perspective, color and composition are all first rate, but above all, it is a joy to look at. To me that is the greatest criteria for any image.

Great shot and light. A bit eerie with the canal path - nice work!

Beautifully rendered colour Richard and the light reflecting from the path leads the eye nicely.

Hi Richard
Why people dislike HDR amazes me, this is one example how HDR should be used, Excellent photography.

I was in a hurry earlier and the site was going particularly slowly, I had to come back to this. It's not often a night shot has such a sense of depth or is so inviting - in part it's down to the reflections on the path and the lead-in supplied by the rail. Absolutely wonderful.

This shot caught my eye and so I clicked on it. Never realised it was yours. Nice night shot, the fusion feature in Photomatix 4 works well.

Excellent use of hdr, so much so that I would never have known. Wonderful full contrast and a great black, the tones are perfect and the whole image sparkles, no false colours or highlights.
Take a bow Richard and My Award.

This should be used as a yardstick for people using hdr. Get it this good if you can.

Ah, my old stamping grounds. I used to live in a flat on Brewery Wharf -- same side of the river as you're standing on, by Crown Point Bridge.

A very nicely done HDR which, like almost all the best ones, you wouldn't think was HDR unless somebody told you.
