Dunraven Bay - Southerndown

By Tynnwrlluniau
Had some lovely light on Thursday evening at Southerndown. Met angej who has already posted a cracking shot taken the same evening. By the time I got this shot I was fighting a race against an incoming tide and appalling filter mist so I was glad to see that this one didn't have any splashes or mistiness about it Smile My processing of this one has tried to convey mood and is a trifle darker than my usual stuff but hopefully it still works. Let me know either way, if you have the time to do so.

Lovely stuff mate. I thought this was yours from the thumbnail. they should give you a residents permit for that coastline ;o)

I really like the harmonious colours, tones and message through the whole shot. The rocks and lead in of the swirl are very well captured too.

Well done as usual Sir.

Gorgeous; love the streaks in the water and the lovely colors. Another winner.
Now this is marvellous Alun,as Wolfy says, copper tones and metalic finish. I could look at this one all day, maybe I will too.

Think the light and tones are right for this fine capture, good work especially with the incoming tide.
Regards Richard.

Thanks very much Henrique Smile

Yung - If I ever start feeling that I'm any good I only need to take a look at your PF to put things in their true perspectiveWink

Chris - Thanks. It is a bit brooding in the corners but I wanted to emphasise the last light of the setting sun so I'm pleased you think the exposure works.

Richard - I usually pride myself on not getting wet because of my familiarity with the tides along this coastline..... However, a sudden surge still managed to catch me out and fill a welly as the tide rushed in. Cheers m8.
