First class shot Ann. This is beautifully focused and exposed. Great eye catchlight. I think I prefer the composition of V 1; bird is a bit too central in V 2.

A super detailed capture, Ann, the crop and positioning in the frame works best in V1, I think. Does rather look like it's sinking, though! Grin

V1 for me Ann, good use of the thirds and that is a cracking good eye. Shows how heavy these Cormorants are lying low in the water but masters underneath.

This would make sense if it were taken with a 500mm with a 1.4x TC......simples! Wink.........the question is.........was it ??????????
