By scunny_chris
This is my first HDR image i used one image and altered the exposure a few times then combined them in Photomatix and just wanted to see what it looks like .......once i've read the instructions i might do some more .....typical bloke who needs the manual? As eveer all comments etc very welcome .....i reckon the sky is overcooked for starters.

Photomatix is the Adobe of the HDR world. And, you have done an excellent job here and not too over saturated and nice lighting. Well done

beautifully composed image, like the detail and tones. I am surprised you didn't get more votes Chris.

Lovely image Chris, I think having an "empty" sky has actually helped this shot by bringing out the cathedral. Excellent foreground interest. Only thing I might have done was compose a little further diagionally down to the right so that tree branch isn't in front of the cathedral but I suppose you could always clone, clone, clone away in PS!

On second thoughts, if you were to have recomposed then the statue would have been blocked by the bush slightly so perhaps cloning is the best option. You aught to enter that into the CC comp?
