"Little Red Job"

Morning folks, today i have chosen another insect this time its a Cardinal Beetle. These are quite common
and similar in size and shape to the Lilly Beetle, which to the gardeners amongst you will be viewed as a destructive pest. These however do no harm in the garden. Thanks for looking, and thank you all for the C&Cs on my previous efforts.

An excellent macro shot. Nicely contrasting against the foliage. This is in fact a gardeners friend, in that his standard diet are the eggs of slugs and snails.

An absolutely superb macro shot, DOF spot on as is the detail in this image, just a shame its not a head on shot.
