sunset

By scuttlefish
I think I have rescued this with a tweak to the USM. The backdrop of trees were blurred / slightly out of focus. This is the landscape format taken 3 minutes later than the earlier one I posted.

I prefer the portrait one but this is still a great shot with a fabulous sky. I was just debating whether to upload a sunset shot myself today.

Thanks for the comments. It's never ceases to amaze me just how small the time frame window is when catching sunsets and sun rises. It literally is a matter of minutes before you lose it all.

I reeled off about 50 shots on this sunset and only these two had the quality needed to be good photos. The rest were slightly blurred or of the wrong composition.

It taught me one thing.....never leave the tripod behind.
