  • Sand eels breakfast, lunch & dinner

Not sure johnnyBG, they go out to sea and come back with a beak full, apparently they have serrated beaks so that they can hold so many. They are very comical and slightly clumsy on land.

  • View across to Jura

Thanks Paul, the colours in the water were pretty much like that, must have been to do with the clouds and depths because it did come and go.
I was quite extreme with Nik software to get the grainy feel, I usually start off extreme and pull back. I know this didn't look very natural but I liked the strange gritty effect.
I'll try and add the original JPG out of lightroom.
I haven't really reached the stage of knowing how to work with different channels yet.
    Thanks again for your feedback.

Paul, thanks for your version and I just love it...did I really take that, I admit it looks so much better without the trees and really like what you have done.
Not sure if there is a better way to respond to peoples comments other than add a comment here.

Thanks Lynnejoyce for your comment, I'll have a look at that, although I liked the image I was not very happy with the sharpness especially around the eyes.
