Blyth Beach Blur

By Sean_Dillon
Taken this afternoon while walking the dog, it was a very minimalist scene, just ripe for a Lee Frost-esk blur in post production.
Probably not to many peoples taste, but its something I like and I nearly paid Mr frost 450+ for a similar image a couple of years ago. (his was better, although im not sure if it was 450 pounds better).
He was good enough to email me on how to actually create the image, when I asked for his secrets - top bloke!

I don't know of his work but I do like this, good of him to explain how he works.

darrenwilson41 - its very very simple - open up your image in PS - goto FILTER - BLUR - MOTION BLUR - then youve got 2 things to play with - this photo I set the angle at 0 and the distance to 2000 - but you can add as much blur as you wish / and at whatever angle suites the image.
Nothing too it, hope you try it, its very basic but can bring out an image that I would sometimes think is spoilt and can be transformed / saved by creating one of these. Although you can go over board and quickly become sick if you do it all the time! Wink
