A nice image Ron. Does your camera have a spotmeter? (It should do, if it is anything similar to the Powershot A95...) If so, then taking a spot reading off the brighter parts of the sky and increasing the exposure by about two stops should be a good starting point to getting the whole image nicely exposed. I wish I had an ND Grad filter kit, but there are ways around it!! ;-D

Take care Ron, looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.

    Regards
    Seano

Its a stunning floral abstract. You listened to good advice. The shape structure in this image lends itself well to monochromatic/duotone/tritone toning. Beautifully seen.

Thanks for your very kind comments!

This in itself is a lovely image. I love the way you've composed this so that the windowsill takes our eyes down to your daughter (I presume!). A lovely image indeed.

Nicely done. The colour saturation is great and the effect is excellent...

Absolutely gorgeous Martin. You are a master with light. I would love to know how you achieve this effect, but I suppose that that would be telling! An amazing image. I don't come in here often, but I remember commenting on one of your images (a long time ago) that - again - blew me away.

What size hard-drive would you need for a polished fully edited 10 minute short movie with this thing. What is the recorded media stored on? An external hard-drive strapped to your belt? Sounds like the final cost of this thing may well be the same as a small supercar...
