Alfie

By SecretSnapper
This is Alfie, my daughters budgie. He was photographed while he was sitting on top of his cage. A very difficult subject to capture as budgies are consistantly moving. I shot hundreds of frames of him and only managed a couple of frames where both the eye and beak are in focus . This was photographed @ nearly life size. The white bits and black spots on and in his feathers are due to him consistantly moulting.

fabulous budgie shot hun, but I have some news for you......I used to breed budgies in my aviary and unless he is a very young bird, I'm sorry to tell you.... Alfie is probably an Annie........Looks like a hen not a ****.
Great shot tho. You have caught the colours really well.
