First Macro :-(

By seejayess
Well I got my new lens back from Sigma after a rechip to allow the Canon 300D to talk to it - and then I'm on me hands and knees in wet grass snapping this little devil. A Toad Lily, only about an inch across and a bit tricky in the breeze. But here it is - my first macro!!

Fantastic!
I submitted a couple of these a few weeks ago, but they were not of this quality

Welcome to the world of macro, it's a different world.

I would expect this to get quite a few comments and clicks as the detail in the centre is brilliant

Superb shot, well worth the chipping. tell me about it? My 300D doesn't like my sigma 28-80 macro.

Tim - you'll have to let me have the method you use to obtain those wonderful butterfly shots of yours. Are they sandwiched between glass panes or what?? Smile
Thanks to all for the support during this stressful start lol
