This one is for Chris (Berrygood) hope he sees it as i dont think he is on the site much these days. After a visit to Stokesay he said if you like Stokesay you'll love Tretower, he wasnt wrong. I had to wait over 12 month to visit as it has been extensively restored. well worth the wait.
Thanks for looking, comments appreciated.lesley Smile

A superb image, Lesley, excellent composition and presentation. Carol
Your technique and use of hdr has brought out all the detail in the shadows and dark places, while still holding the detail in highlights too. Splendid, glad you waited for this one Lesley.

Agree with all the above. Lashings of interest and really comes alive when viewed large.

Passed Stokesay on our way back from Mid Wales but couldn't persuade our driver to stop. Still, never mind! This is an excellent shot and I like the starburst highlight, works well.

....and processed and presented perfectly Lesley. This is what IMO HDR is all about. Inside old buildings where there is oodles of detail. Congrats on the GEA. I know that'll mean a lot. Looking forward to seeing more.

Tretower Kitchen - beautifully atmospheric photo - I was there on July 10th.
This is such a great subject that I would like to have a go with the original. Hope you like my modification but I find you can't really do a lot, hence it would be better to start with the original. WesternRed.
