The Crusting Pipe Free Wi-Fi... Almost rusty! This is a very quirky, idiosyncratic image, one where we can write our own story. I like the way the two subjects occupy the frame - perfect use of portrait. And for some reason I love his shoes.
Great minds think alike, I've uploaded the other side of the coin, so to speak - a Covent Garden performer.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect this man is trying out a new origami move with his arms and legs! A nice natural capture Sarah...

All the best ~ Dave

He looks like a real character, great image, I would have been tempted to leave out the sign.

Thanks Ian, yes I agree would work without the sign too. I just found it quite humorous - as if he would want free Wi-Fi at that moment?

Works a treat. Love the distance captured between the elderly man who appears to be very happy in his world - with the free Wi-Fi sign. Describes the generation gap superbly.

Excellent candid capture, Sarah, think the inclusion of the Wi-Fi sign works very well. Very nicely processed, too. Regarding your comments on the space below his feet, I'm sure a girl of your talents would be able to extend the canvas size on the bottom edge, then clone the paving stones in!
Hope you've had a great Easter,
TrevB Smile

Very good.
There is a total disconnect between the man and the poster which probably sums up quite well his attitude & disinterest in modern technology.

Yes a bit more space at the bottom would be nice, but for me correcting the verticals was far more important in this case as the eye moves upwards / downwards between the man & poster with the pillars acting as a diagonal link.
Like this a lot - particularly the colours - looks like he's sitting in a pool of light.

Your thoughts and comments are appreciated, thank you very much!

Trev - yep extending the canvas was exactly what I should of done, I thought about that later, teach me not to upload late in the evening Wink

Dave and Viv, thank you so much!

Dave - it's not something I do often either, just trying to get out of my comfort zone every now and again though - plus the fact there was not much else to 'shoot' other than people on a busy Bank Holiday in Covent Garden Wink

He looks like he was posing for you Sarah! This is a lovely shot and the sign gives some context to it.
