The Path of Cat Bells

By SH2006
This is a shot on Cat Bells taken in the opposite direction and near the top. I was able to find some rock that had very striking lines, helping to lead the eye to the path in the distance. Thanks for your comments on yesterdays shot. All comments welcome.

The lead in lines are effective in creating interest. I like how the eye continues to follow the path.

Gerry, this wasnt a quarry. There is a fell in the Lake District called Cat Bells, near the top the rock changes to this very straight lined type.

Thanks for your comments.

Good use of stone to cleverly point the eye into the image from R-L. Also excellent detail in the distance, and good colors throughout.

This is the kind of landscape photograph I aspire to taking. Simply perfect! And thanks for the generous comment and vote on my 'Birling Gap' attempt, it was very odd that the upload came out over-exposed, because it definitely was but the original isn't. I will spend more time on my re-sizing in future!
kind regards
