The Wheel Stones

This shot is from a recent trip to the Wheel Stones on Derwent Edge with Dave_D78. What an amazing natural rock formation. So much larger than they look from the track on the way up. Unfortunately there was not the blue/cloudy skies we were after, although I think the cloud in this shot helps add mood to the stones. All comments welcome.

I'd be very pleased with that shot. The cloudy skies definitely make the shot slightly moody.

This is by far the best shot I've seen from the weekend. Well done on visualising that shot. And well exposed in the conditions as previously said.

I really like the cloudy sky, adds atmosphere and provides a nice contrast to the 'gritty' texture of the stones. - regards Robin
