I really like what you've achieved here, it's very graphic and ticks most of the boxes for me. There's certainly a theatrical quality to it, and the pose suits the purpose perfectly. The ruffles of the dress contrast nicely with the smoothed skin, and add to the illusion of reduced scale. There are a couple of technical improvements which could be made, but the overall image meets the brief well, and I think this deserves recognition for that.

Puppet on a string... Really like it. Feel though that the skirt is so overwhelming that not everybody will notice the 'sliced' arms - which is a pity. (Because it looks so good and was a lot of work to do!)

To be honest - good work on the technical aspects of the photo and digital effects but this is a disturbing image. The colours, the use of the fish-eye effect, and the marrionette imagery all suggest a person who is trapped, feels controlled by circumstances or forces out of their control. The black and white squares suggest to me a rigidity that must adhered to or a dance that must be followed with some one else pulling the strings. The overwhelming strength of black and red also suggests strongly some unhappiness. There is a strong suggestion of a perfectionism in the photo that is overwhelming rather than being a desire to do the best you can. If this is what you were going for then well done you succeeded.
thank you , i think you got the feeling of it spot on...i think my work tends to mimic my mood at the time, and I did have a sense of unhappiness and entrappment when I did this...and definitely the feeling of being controlled by something "higher" than me.

But I'm all good now Tongue *thumbs up*
