I like this. I like the composition and the pose. I don't know if there is any way you can raise the contast between what the model is wearing and the chair because the two do blend to some extent but I like it as it is. It would be worth shooting several like this with your daughter wearing different things. It drew my attention so CLICK.

Agree with above. I also think it would look good if it was cropped to show head,shoulders and hands. Click !

I think the problem here is the background. The two different colours on wall are distracting but the dark clothes on the dark chair make make it all rather dark at the bottom. you could try just a small table chair and a lighter plainer background. As said above a crop would get rid of a lot of the empty space. Not a bad attempt.
