A rainbow flower in a raindrop frame. It's a stunning rainbow colour image and I also think the modification looks great. I tend to agree with regard to the wide frame but am pleased you did use it because it tells me that you are creative in looking for textures to complement images. In this case the glass texture needs to be minimal as shown in the modification.

I accept you used a large logo due to the wide space at the bottom but tend to agree with Focus-Man that it needs to be smaller and that the main image needs to grab attention. Great presentation helps too and it's practicing 'trail and error' which will help with improvements.

You could also experiment further with texture work, usually I find non over bearing textures work best but I guess it depends on what kind of work you're processing.

Hope this helps.

Fruit & veg

Fruit & vegA great idea you have here a few suggestions I can make is may be partner the vegetables with other veg or similar items which would give the overall effect you're trying to accomplish. The apples look lovely but may be a little too shiny for this particular layout against an old style textured background.

Perhaps tone down on the aqua colour a bit. I can see it helps make the subject stand out but may be lighten it a little or even see what it looks like removed. The good thing is the apples and veg appear to be well well grounded.

All I can suggest is practice because it's that which will ultimately help improve this kind of work.

Hope this helps.
