Burnet Moths.

Alan (gingernut21) posted a shot of one of these the other day and I commented that I did not think that I had not seen one before.

Well I was out on Friday doing an outdoor portrait session with my neice and we wandered into this field of long grass and there must have been hundreds of them swarming about. I quickly grabbed this shot but now wished I had spent longer photographing them. Maybe I will go back in the week.
