Powering a Storm

By MattB1987
Last Sunday I was on the North Norfolk coast and had the chance to photograph some of the steam trains powering down the line. I was happy with the results I got but they weren't jumping out at me, so I thought about making it a bit more exciting.

After playing for a while I got to a point where I was happy and thought I would share it with you lovely people.

Thank you for looking at my photo and of course all comments and critiques are much appreciated.

Cheers,

Matt

Impressive, Matt, love the smoke, and spot on with the colour popping for me.

A great mono image Matt, well captured and proccessed, (IMHO it did not need the popping as the image stands on it's own merit)SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

Like the splash of selective colour and the billowing steam is well worked Matt.

Sorry for me the cloning of the steam to fill the sky has killed the shot its left a hallo above the trees it just does not look right
