Hehehe, in Malaysia Durian is referred to as the "King of Fruits". The locals love it, not many foreigners can withstand even the smell of it. The hotels banned it. Room guests are not allowed to bring durians into their rooms. A love hate relationship. Either you love it or you hate it.
I can see you are really loving it, LOL.
Where did you get yours from, curiously.
Bon Appetit!

We buy durians in Chinatown, Toronto. We noticed them first a copuple of years ago, but we didn't know what they were. Interesting skin and shape indeed. They also sale another exotic fruits as longans, lychees, etc. A whole new world for me. Thanks for your comments,

Nice collage of an interesting exercise. I've heard it smells like Limburger cheese, so I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.

Another feature of the durian is its soft flesh, with a texture similar to ice cream. The flavour is special too, but one time we tryed some flavour-durian cookies and the tasted like onion, horrible! A very difficult flavour to synthesize.

I like the idea of the How to series.

The arrangement of the tiles is very good, - really looks like a professional presentation.

I thought the tone of this, and the later one was too dark, heavy, but I noticed the comment from Falco and I agree, it makes it look like a 50's/60's magazine shot.

Well done.

Thanks Tom and Willie. Unfortunately now is wintertime so there are not too many exotic fruits in Chinatown, the best place in Toronto to buy them, but I'm going to continue the series in a few more months.
