What a lovely shot. Like the toning and the expression on her face. What about "you are not putting me on ePHOTOzine - right"? Alan.

Thanks everybody for the feedback, the first one is a little bit long but funny, the second has humor and the third one is very poetic.

Thanks Lucie and Greg. The place is called "Burwash Hall", they are dorms for students close to the U of T. I took the picture in summertime, of course is still too cold to be dressed like that, but now I know a thing or two of Photoshop, so I can improve it.

Thank you Peter. I started to learn some PS tricks thanks to this site, looking at so many nice photos and trying to do something similar.
It also helps me to build a very nice family album for my baby.

All been said already. Very beautiful model, superb shot - crop, lighting and the contrast in the B&W is perfect. I love the setting too - the ivy covered building and old stone looks great. So, clicked. More self-portraits.

Thanks Magda. I have a version color, probably to be posted today. This place is very nice and quiet, an old buiding with a small arch at the entrance, and lots of vines. The original picture is bigger and shows more of the building and windows, but I wanted to focus on the bench and figure. However, I could try a different crop, but I like this one.
Thanks for the feedback,

You're catching on fast Silvi...it took me quite a few months to get a good handle on Photoshop, it's a career, more than a program(g)
Nicely presented and your sepia toning is excellent. I wouldn't mind betting if you lose the other seat area and perhaps clone in to balance it, it will look better and bring your image up nearer too. Give you some practice in cloning LOL

Thanks Leo, to achieve this toning, I go to Hue/Saturation, check colorize and adjust the saturation a little bit. I know that the second seat is not really nice, but just thinking about cloning it worries me, a lot of work!

You will perhaps find in the "actions" palette
a simple one click only method of making any image sepia, depending on which version of Photoshop you use of course. Worth having a look Silvi. Have a go at cloning but make a duplicate image first to practice on..nothing to lose thenSmile

Yes, I know about actions and use them, but always feel that I'm cheating by doing it. Regarding cloning, I'm going to try first with a less complicated image.

They can be great time savers though and making your own is quite easy too. Practice your cloning and you may need to alter the settings downwards from 100% very often, to get a smooth result, with no edges showing...good luckSmile
