Hi Folks...Grin

First upload for a month or three, Been a tad busy off line but still managed a few outings with Camera & Cats !

Quite pleased with this effort as it is my boy " Ziggy " , Not the easiest kitty to get a decent shot of as he's always on the move, Another reason I quite pleased is that this image required almost no post work, The intention when setting out was to produce the look I wanted at the time the shutter was fired, To this end I used a very high ISO @ 2000 ( Despite having lots of ambient daylight ) A wide aperture f/4 and a subsequently fast shutter speed of 1/2000s.

I really did not want a clinical, Technically scientific image, I wanted something will a feel and look of reality that would do justice to my subject, Above all I did not want to add any post modifications in order to achieve the look I was after....Wink

So here it is, Resized and converted for upload, A very small amount of selective low value sharpening, Looking just like the split second the shutter fired.

The bad news, I have a few more pussy pics lined up for uploading....LOL...!

This is a lovely natural shot, and you've captured some lovely subtle detail in Ziggy's fur. Always difficult on black coats. And he stands out so beautifully from the background.
