Like the fact the sky is so dark and gloomy on the left and so bue on the right. The long shadows created from that lovely light look good too

Lovely, I agree - there's something about hay bales, like a right of passage for a photographer, you just have to capture them. I like to call them dougals as they remind me of dougal from the magic roundabout. Smile

Did you do much dodging and burning Simon, it looks so good my friend, an unfortunate title imho, you got some bonnie light for this "corny" image you'll need to shave now and get rid of the stubble.
