Through the window

By simon9924
I setup a feeder today in the hope of attracting some birds to my garden. Camera was on a tripod in my kitchen and I was shooting through the window.
Late in the day a blue tit (I think!) made a brief appearance and I managed to grab a couple of shots before he disappered again.

Any hints & tips for this kind of photography are much appreciated.

Another nice bird pic, there have been alot on here lately. If you want him to stand out a bit more, try taking it into PS and play with the contrast and curves. You'll find it brings the colours out.

Thanks for the comments. Sam - I've tried bringing out the colours in PS but haven't really had much success, I will continue playing!

Simon,

Have you tried moving the black setting in levels towards the centre, maybe moving the mid slider a bit and then adjusting colours in hue/saturation.

Clive, thanks for the hints. I've tried that now but not too successful yet, will spend more time on it later :^)
