Death of a boat

Death of a boat by SueEley

i like it, maybe a lasso on the boat to sharpen a tad to bring out wood detail and a bit more contrast, other than that, i like it and the mood Smile

You could try the dodge and burn tools, at about 7% to lighten/darken midtones, give you more control than selecting area with lasso.

Never sigh for a better World

Never sigh for a better World by nineteen68

i agree with the above comments, the necklace recentralised, the hair over the eye would have made the world of difference, great idea and colours.

Recognised nightmare before christmas even before reading the description, very effective Smile

Nicely timed shot Smile

Washday! by TrevBatWCC

Nice image, I like this, just one thing though I probably would have cloned out the wooden post in the centre and the water pipe in the wall.

Hell by Jonny5874

Love this shot, atmospheric dereliction and sense of loneliness. Smile

Mono by DannoM

WOW!!! Great portrait and detail Smile

The Clouds

The Clouds by arhab

It is a nice try and good cloud formations can create striking images themselves without any other subject matter.

I personally prefer the original the unedited version, I think if you played around with curves and brigthness/contrast, you could have acheived a better effect without the halo around the trees.

Good effort though, keep it up and enjoy experimenting, it is the best way to improve and learn.

Time Clocks Sunset

Time Clocks Sunset by loopylor24

Nice Image, but I would like to see more emphasis on the dandelion in the foreground (if that's what it is Smile ) with the sun a little less strong and hazy. I think there needs to be more contrast on the plant to stand out more, especially around the centre pad and the seed carriers towards bottom of clock. Still gets my vote though because I like the detail.

Love the colours of the stone work, mirrored in the twisty track on the right, great composition. Smile

Bird on a Wire

Bird on a Wire by crazylady

Nice simple image I like V1, here is an idea for you, add another couple of wires and clone the bird and copy to create musical notes made out of birds, would work with V2 as well, V3 could probably do with a crop though Smile
