    Thanks Pete, yeah was quite lucky on the timing. Although he stopped and posed I didn't have much time to think about the settings so it was still kind of a grab-shot but I was quite pleased with how it came out. The background was about 18ft away so I probably could have got away with another stop on the aperture...

    Hey Pete, cracking shot... so how long have you had the 40D?? I just bought mine yesterday but haven't had a chance to try it out properly yet :o) Are you pleased with it?

    Hi Adam, I think if you uploaded a photo with dimensions larger than 600px it will get sized down when you upload. If you're not seeing the sharpness you expect, make sure you resize the image to 600px, then apply some sharpening and check to make sure it's not getting too much compression applied when you save. Also there's a handy little calibration strip at the bottom of the page that's worth checking out :o)
