Seal(ed) with a F(K)ish

By cats_123
A minor diversion...Grey Seals are a regular visitor to our shores at this time of year...but rarely do they come within zoom lens range. Our Village has a man-made `lagoon' (wish it were a South Sea one!!) which is filled/emptied by the movement of the tides. At High Tide the water climbs an impressive 12-15 feet washing over the top of the wall. It brings with it various types of fish, but rarely a seal. This fella reckoned he coud get an easy lunch and found himself a tasty morsel.

I rushed down to the beach and fired off some shots GrinGrin

Vs 1 & 2 are heavily cropped...not the best in terms of quality, but....

Todaycast: Pitch black outside, so can't tell you what is going on!!!! GrinGrinGrin

Lucky you to get to see these creatures, Jeff Smile Being about 60 miles from the sea, we don't get many seals here in Wakefield! Wink
