Dog day afternoon.

By SiPickles
Homeless guy in Leeds, his mind was else where but the dog spotted me straight away!
The dog has a sainsbury's carrier bag on as a makeshift raincoat.
Oh yeah, forgot to say, this is one of the first shots with my new 85mm f1,8 usm lens.

Thanks Al.
Thanks to everyone who's voted.
I heard a sermon the other day claiming that cats and dogs are spiritless and have no souls - such bullshit. And here's the proof. Excellent work. =)

Is it me, or is this not as sharp as we might expect from a shot taken with that brilliant lens? I really like the image, I just thought it could have been sharper.

In my defence Conrad, I literally walked 500 yds from the camera shop after picking this lens up and this was one of my very 1st shots with it.
Totally agree with you that it is a brilliant lens. Loving how fast the focus is, how sharp "some" images are with it. ha.
just a quality bit of kit.
Trying my hand at portraits this wk end.
Got 5 different people to shoot so far.
