The loneliness of the long distance runner.

Out real early one morning trying to capture sunrise, the freezing fog rolled in off the moor and ruined that.
My hands were so cold I felt like crying, I thought "Who in their rights minds comes out in this?".
Then she said hello as she came jogging past me.
It made me grin as she disappeared into the fog.
It made the whole frost bitten fingers thing worth it.
Then it was home for freshly made coffee and a warm fire.
