Kirby Rework by Nigel_95
Hi Nigel, sweeping composition. Number 1 is good, I love the light and of course its in the best directionhowever the B+W number three is pretty stunning especially in the sky department!
Hope youre well, Simon- 7 Apr 2008 3:05AM

War memorial by Djemde
When I saw the thumbnail I thought that light was a large spot lamp in the foreground.
If you had wanted to keep the exposure balanced between in and out youd prolly have had to bracket a bit. Not wise in a place of mourning unless you can work fast and realise this is what you needed to do at the time. Then combine the images in some High Dynamic Range software. I like this how it is. Blue sky and clouds in that window may have brought an optimistic mood to the image, which probably wouldnt have been the right thing. So the exposure here is perfect. Its hard to tell what that light source is though at first...
Lonely and isolated, with a white halo of light. Great shot.- 20 Feb 2007 8:19PM

CN Tower by camillo
A great abstract here. I was expecting to see the top of the tower, but thats obvious. This works for me, makes the tower seem all the more immense and the viewer is given a challenge too. They need to either know its the CN tower, or have to find out about it, then they will understand and appreciate the photo more. This for me is a GOOD abstract. No question. Well done.- 13 Nov 2006 10:06PM

Reno Gold by sjatkinson
Hi Randomrubble, I think youre right. It would clean the image up a bit. However, I was a bit blind to that side of the shot actually and never gave it any thought, perhaps I was seeing it as part of the framing and perhaps seeing the begginings of another prop helps people work out what it is, if theyre not familiar with airplanes..? Thanks for the suggestion. Cheers.- 17 Oct 2006 9:57PM

I want to know why PS changes the way in which the clone tool works. If I have to do some very serious cloning, I have to install V5 LE!!! so I can have continuous cloning. A later version that I have does not allow it. Hard to describe here but it SUCKS!- 15 Oct 2006 12:52PM
