Todays capture is from a early start down at the nest site.As yesterday my worst fears were unfounded.Yesterday morning a female Sparrowhawk was present up and down and even perched close to the nest hole. This forced both parents to move away from the area, and this caused extra trouble as another male moved onto the brook. So when I got there today both parents were very vocal and back and forth with larger fish first thing. Then the male began new nest building before the second male again arrived to be chased away by both parents.Hope you like this one again of the male as he likes to have his good side on view. The female perchs out of site and then goes straight in and out.
