Hidden Stream

By Skinz
This shot is taken from the road to the Glencoe Ski Centre on Tuesday 2nd March 2010. The Moor was heavy with a blanket of snow and the stream that is down near the junction with the A82 was completely covered.

I've added another version of this same shot but in portrait format. I like both and they have different strengths, I think I prefer the portrait version. Let me know what you think.

Both versions are exceptionally good. I would plum for V2 as I feel the composition is that much stronger.

Just missed you as that is the day we passed here on our way to Skye . It explains why we couldn't find the stream. Great shot nevertheless...Phil

I swore I wouldn't vote for another snow shot this year, but I'll make and exception for this - Superb images. V1 for me.

Two excellent shots Richard, V2 for me, it seems to have a better balance between shadow and mountain.

Both shots are excellent but I tend to agree that V 2 in portrait format is possibly the stronger composition.
