As you can see from my photos I am as mad as they come. My two passions in life are Skydiving and photography. I have moved to the digital format after using film for many years . I have been into photography since 1980 starting out with a Zenith something or other.

Many thanks to my fellow cameraperson Rod for the portfolio photo.

As a member of the Wild Geese Skydiving Display Team we take part in Demo's all over N. Ireland including North West 200 (Road Racing) Ulster Air Show, Portrush Raft Race etc. etc.
So if you are at any of these events come up and say hi, we might even talk you into jumping with us( I'm the one with the funny helmet!!!) You can start by doing a Tandem jump from 13,000ft with the instructor doing all the hard bits.

Everyone should do a skydive once in their life.

Have a ponder on these:

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt.

One mans fear is another mans dream.......

Remember live every day like it's going to be your last, because one day you'll be right.....

A smile is a curved line that can straighten everything out........

The dreams of a child are the ambitions of an adult.

If you are not living on the edge then you're taking up too much space.

Don't let it happen, make it happen.

If we limit our imagination, then we limit our dreams.

The greatest compliment that you can pay someone is to ask for their advice.

When you listen do you hear the message?

A hidden masterpiece of a gallery, sharing with us a viewpoint very few will see.
It makes me sad in some ways I never took the opportunity's to try this when i was younger.

Amazing shots mike! dream job; you get to be creative whilst adrenaline's pumping through your veins!

Bit of a personal question but do you use precision or manual? can't imagine you have much time for adjustments and the like when you're falling!! 60sec freefall normally? probably the most challenging environments to photograph!

I've only done a couple jumps and that was years ago but your photos make it seem like yesterday! Thanks

Just looking through your portfolio and I must say you have some fantastic shots.

I have discovered your portfolio today and it simply seems incredible to me.
The aerial photos are fantastic.
Although I must say that to make parachuting it causes a little to me fear, although I die of desire to prove it.
Thanks for your invitation Smile

Wonderful portfolio. I have problems using a tripod - how you get such fantastically sharp images falling out of a plane is miraculous. Keep up the good work.

I'm very proud to be your first comment, Mike. I just love your plane shots, such excellent quality under extreme circumstances, as well as your beautiful landscapes of Ireland, next best thing to being there.
