SkySkape

Hi. Welcome to SkySkapes. The photos here are a varied selection of hundreds I, like most digital owners, take most weeks. I have been taking photographs since the early 1960s. In the 1980s I won a photo competition in a national magazine and had a one man show in a local museum/gallery, speaking about it on local radio. I now feel like a beginner again with the complexities of a dSLR and processing. I joined a small camera club in order to learn digital and found myself on the committee and taking workshops teaching camera craft. Our club is affiliated to the Kent County Photographic Association. www.KCPA.co.uk

Fantastic. Great grouping and placement of the subject. When you have time try cloning out the "To Let" sign and the guy with the high-viz hat and jacket.

Thank you for your votes. I have just noticed spellcheck changed Oast Houses to Last Houses. Now correct.

A very emotional collection. Long forgotten times come back to me in a flash. I still have the bakelite Kodak Brownie with which I took my first photos. I have packs of photos by the dozen. The last frame was always in the back garden, using up the roll before taking it to Boots.

Brilliant shot. There are hundreds of photos of barn owls but your photo has that something extra.

Wow this messes with your head!! The rules say the horizon must always be level but somehow this works and I like it.
