New Siberian tiger cub at Port Lympne, Kent, 13th August 2010. This was the cubs second day out. It was a rainy day with heavy cloud. The Daily Mail had sent a photographer and we were both waiting for "the shot" but the cubs weren't performing. I was trying out an old 500mm Nikkor mirror lens on by D90. Cranking up the ISO and straining to get an angle through the fence and foliage. The Daily Mail photographer spent a great deal more time at the enclosure than I did but he didn't get a much better shot than this.
