A Drop of Rain

Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

A Drop of Rain

Just had a thunder storm, which was quite strange as you usually associate muggy weather with storms. Anyway, nothing's as it should be lately so I don't know why I'm surprised.

Our fence is just about staying upright. Since the bloke next door tore down all the lovely shrubs which lined his fence it's been in a sorry state. It'll be like that for a while too as he's now sold the house on and it'll be yonks before anything in the garden gets done. This is just a view out of my back window because it was too dark and horrible to go out. And I've just been reading B&W magazine in search of inspiration. Not quite there yet. Grin

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Fox

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
