A Must-See

Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

A Must-See

If you get the chance, visit the Hayward Gallery in London and see the Andreas Gursky exhibition. If anyone wonders who he is, he does fabulous large scale photos with intricate detail of things like factories, shops, landscapes - all sorts. Look him up. You might recognise the shot below, Rhine II (sold for 4.3m dollars), which is exhibited along with many others. Brilliant.

I made the mistake of taking my camera out, not noticing I hadn't replaced the memory card from the last time I used it. Good job I had my phone, but it's not up to much. Better than nothing though.

A Lovely Day in the Park

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....
