Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

Boating, Banks, Blood and Generally Pi**ed Off

One from the challenge yesterday (the original colour version). On the boating lake. I was glad to get this photo as I'd spent nearly an hour in my local bank just trying to get a statement printout. I queued at one machine but it wasn't printing mini-statements, just the balance. So I tried another queue and waited, and waited, and waited .................... 25 mins later I was still there as some people up the front were faffing about. I saw another queue by some more machines so joined that one; waited for another 15 mins. Finally got to a machine, requested a statement printout, only to be told by a member of staff that this particular machine wasn't issuing printed statement as it was new and there was a giltch.

I was so hot and bothered I took a walk through the park and came across this family enjoying a canoe ride on the lake. So at least something came of it. I was rather hot and bothered by the time I got home. SadSadSad

This is all on top of yesterday when I went for a routine blood test, only to find when I got to the hospital that there were 120 people waiting in front of me. I left! The world's gone mad ..................................... I certainly have. Sad

This chap actually managed to hit a coot's nest, although he had the whole lake to row around. Top left of the pic you can see a blurred bird as it was dislodged from the nest and flew into the air in a right flap. Duh!

A Lovely Day in the Park

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Fox

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
