Buyers' Day

Every year I go to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. It's a bit of a scrum but fun at the same time. Last year I bought a stone lithograph so automatically got an invite to Buyers' Day this year. I thought it'd be a bit quieter - no chance. It was packed solid. I missed out on one picture I'd have liked to buy but my OH saw an etching he fancied so we bought that. Not sure where we'll hang it but there's always a little space for one more picture. At least on Buyers' Day you can get a glass of Pimms. Smile

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
