Can't Do It ...

SlowSong

Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

.................. let it go, that is. Have been seriously thinking about selling the 60D and 17-55mm f2.8 (lovely lens), and others, due to tendonitis. I can hardly lift the stuff and the M4/3 equipment is so much lighter. But having got the gear out again and taken a few snaps I've gone all undecided. Compared with the smaller system the hefty stuff is just so good. So, I can't use it, but neither can I lose it, so it's all gone back in the cupboard. Sad

Oh well, here are some teddies. Taken in low light hand held at 55mm, ISO400, f/8, 1/6th second.

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...

if you're finding it heavy, maybe a monopod could help take the strain a little, just a thought Smile

Don't think that would help Den. Not walking around anyway. I have the neck strap so I'll give it another try with that.
